DETONATION: Video Update Available

A nine-minute video update from the Dutch death/thrash metal act DETONATION can be viewed below.

DETONATION will team up with British band BLOODSHOT DAWN for a UK tour in March 2009.

The band recently announced the addition of drummer Michiel van der Plicht (ex-PROSTITUTE DISFIGUREMENT, TOXOCARA) to the group's ranks. According to DETONATION, work on the follow-up to 2007's "Emission Phase", "is going well. . . Three killer tracks have been finished, and sections for another 8-10 tracks are ready to be turned into the most intense stuff we've done, ever. This shit is sounding awesome!!"

DETONATION's latest effort, "Emission Phase", was released on April 30, 2007. The CD was recorded with Split Second Sound's Jochem Jacobs (also guitar player for TEXTURES) and Bouke Visser. The cover artwork was created by Eliran Kantor.

"Emission Phase" is DETONATION's third and final album for French underground label Osmose Productions.
