DETRIMENTUM Seeking Bassist/Vocalist

January 8, 2010

U.K. extreme metallers DETRIMENTUM are seeking a bass/vocalist to complete their four-piece lineup:

Current members:

Jonathan Butlin - Guitar
Paul Wilkinson - Guitar
Steve Powell (ANAAL NATHRAKH session) - Drums

DETRIMENTUM has finished writing eight new tracks (guitars only) for the band's second album. The group states, "Our aim is to focus on recording the album this year as professionally as possible and we're currently looking at the studios BOLT THROWER and VADER have recorded their recent albums in."

The band adds, "The right person will be able to contribute bass lines/lyrics for the album.

"Vocal styles preferred are varied black/death metal mix. We're open-minded to singing in styles similar to OPETH.

"Any location is OK but must have transport and decent bass equipment.
We currently rehearse twice a month in the Birmingham area.

"After the album is recorded/released we will be looking at touring with big named bands to support the album."

Interested parties can contact DETRIMENTUM at [email protected].

DETRIMENTUM released its full-length debut, "Embracing This Deformity" in 2008 via U.K. label Grindethic Records.
