DEVILDRIVER, UNEARTH: Concert Photos From Quebec City Posted Online
April 28, 2007CKRL 89.1FM metal radio show "Démentièllement Vôtre" has posted 20 live photos of DEVILDRIVER and UNEARTH performing live on April 24, 2007 at Théâtre du Capitole in Quebec City. The pictures were taken by famous photographer Olivier Jean and can be found at this location.
As previously reported, a short audio clip of a new DEVILDRIVER song can be heard in the TV commercial for the band's current The Invaluable Darkness Tour, also featuring DIMMU BORGIR, UNEARTH and KATAKLYSM. Watch the commercial at this location.
DEVILDRIVER's third album, "The Last Kind Words", has had its release date pushed back to June 19 in Europe and July 31 in the U.S. The American version will include a bonus track and a poster. The CD was recorded at Sonic Ranch studios outside El Paso, Texas. Jason Suecof, known for his great work with TRIVIUM, CHIMAIRA, GOD FORBID, and BURY YOUR DEAD, produced the album, with engineer Mark Lewis helping out as well. Mixing duties are currently being handled by Andy Sneap, who has previously worked with MEGADETH, MACHINE HEAD, NEVERMORE and ARCH ENEMY, among many others. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Damning the Heavens", "Cattle Call", "The Last Kind Words" and "Monsters of the Deep". Check out the cover artwork at this location.
UNEARTH's latest album, "III: In the Eyes of Fire", was released last August via Metal Blade Records. The CD was recorded at a Seattle studio with producer Terry Date (PANTERA, DEFTONES). A limited-edition version of "III: In the Eyes of Fire" includes a bonus DVD containing the "making of" footage for the album and a live video filmed on the Sounds of The Underground tour.
