DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER: New Songs Posted Online

Germany's DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER has posted two brand new songs from its upcoming album "Licht" on the group's MySpace page. Check out the tracks "Es Wird Schlimmer" and "Der Weg" at this location. The band will also release an exclusive EP, "Der Weg", via iTunes on June 27, featuring four songs, two of which will only be available on this EP. A strictly limited print mailorder edition of this EP will be available through the Nuclear Blast mailorder store.

"Licht" is scheduled for release on August 29 via Nuclear Blast Records. The upcoming CD will be the group's first to feature new guitar player Lady Cat-Man, who replaced Pitrone in February 2008.

DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER previously stated about the upcoming CD and new lineup, "Don't expect anything less than an absolute killer record! The sound is damn heavy, melodic and chock-full of surprises. Lady Cat-Man may look like an angel, but she's playing like the devil! Treat our metal sister real nice, she is part of the family now."

DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER's sixth album, "Riders on the Storm", was released in August 2006 via Nuclear Blast.
