DIECAST To Embark On U.S. Tour With 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, IF HOPE DIES

August 11, 2005

DIECAST are currently preparing to embark on a national U.S. tour alongside 3 INCHES OF BLOOD and IF HOPE DIES late this month. The trek will be their first stateside run since January's acclaimed "Heavyweights of Hardcore" tour with HATEBREED and AGNOSTIC FRONT. The group recently completed a massive two-month European tour with NAPALM DEATH that saw them hit over 15 different countries and play such esteemed events as the Fury Fest, Pressure Fest and Sweden Rock. DIECAST's new album, "Tearing Down Your Blue Skies", continues to garner critical acclaim led by the strength of the hit singles "Medieval" and "Rise and Oppose", which remains in heavy rotation on both "Metal Asylum" and "Headbanger's Ball".

DIECAST checked in with the following report: "Thanks to you guys, it was another amazing tour in Europe. We made a lot of new friends on this tour and saw a ton of old friends as well. I want to thank DO OR DIE, END OF DAYS and most of all NAPALM DEATH and their crew. When you have three bands on a bus at the same time a lot could happen to make it become a reality show gone wrong. Instead, it was one huge chaotic party on wheels. There was a lot of screaming, drinking and Dio. This tour was loaded with good times.

"There was the insanity of Trier, Germany where the whole front row was wearing DIECAST shirts and everyone was screaming for different songs, as well as singing them. There is no better feeling than that. Then there was the time we played the fortress in Serbia. We played in a huge moat on a giant stage with crazy lights and at least 5000 insane people, Fucking sick! Of course one can't forget Darmstadt, Germany. Without a doubt the hottest show we've ever played. It was 150 degrees on that stage (NO LIE). The poor drummer, Frank from END OF DAYS, collapsed from heat exhaustion. Everyone stuck it out! The bands and most of all the fans. We're proud to say Europe has really accepted DIECAST and taken us under their wing. Thanks so fucking much, and we can't wait to come back and rip it up next year, hopefully on our first European headlining tour. We are also stoked to finally be back on tour in the U.S. and we will see you soon."
