DIMEBAG DARRELL's Final Cleveland Interview To Be Rebroadcast This Weekend

August 19, 2005

The final Cleveland interview with fallen guitar hero "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN) will be aired on Saturday, August 20 as part of a tribute to celebrate what would have been Abbott's 39th birthday. The interview, which was conducted by "The Classic Metal Show"'s Chris Akin, included all four members of Abbott's last band, DAMAGEPLAN. In the interview, Dimebag can be heard taking on such issues as the breakup of PANTERA, the creation of DAMAGEPLAN, and joking throughout the entire interview. Also scheduled to appear on the show is BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION guitarist Tracii Guns, whose upcoming "Runaway Brides" CD contains a tribute song to Dimebag called "Dimes In Heaven" (which will also be aired during the show).

"The Classic Metal Show" will air live on Saturday evening beginning at 9:00 p.m. EST, and is available for live listening at www.theclassicmetalshow.com.
