DIMEBAG's GASOLINE Side Project Featured On PUMPJACK DVD
April 6, 2006Video footage of GASOLINE — the former metallic southern rock side project of late PANTERA guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott and his brother Vinnie Paul (drums),along with PUMPJACK frontman Thurber T. Mingus — is included on PUMPJACK's new DVD release "Drinkin' and Making Friends", which can be purchased via www.pumpjackjrocks.com. In addition to the GASOLINE footage, the disc includes PUMPJACK clips from the last eight years, including material shot at Ozzfest 2000.
GASOLINE made their first live appearance since Dimebag's death this past New Year's Eve at Hot Rods and Hoggs in Arlington, Texas. The band were joined by former PANTERA bassist Rex Brown for two PANTERA cuts: "Walk" and "Cowboys from Hell". The gig marked the first time Brown and Vinnie Paul had shared the same stage in almost five years. Watch video footage of the Hot Rods and Hoggs gig at this location.
