DIMEBAG Tribute Show In Detroit Scheduled For Next Week

February 4, 2005

The Detroit metal band JUSTDEFY and Ytsejam.com (Yit-SEE-Jam) have announced the "Detroit Remembers 'Dimebag' Darrell Tribute Show" at the I-Rock nightclub on Friday, February 11. Door open at 7:30 p.m.

The show will feature local bands MOTOWN RAGE, JUSTDEFY, PILLOWBLOCK and SOUL DRIVEN all paying tribute to DAMAGEPLAN/ex-PANTERA guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, who was gunned down while performing on December 8, 2004 at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door. Mike Carey Music has graciously donated a guitar that will be raffled off the day of the show. Donations above and beyond the ticket price are welcome.

All proceeds from the show will go to benefit the "Dimebag" Darrell Memorial Fund and the Anthony Bray Scholarship Fund, which benefit the victims and families affected by the shootings at the Alrosa.
