DIRT To Take 'Extended Vacation' Following Label Collapse
April 24, 2003Houston, Texas-based DIRT will be taking an "extended vacation" due to the collapse of their record label, 2K Sounds/EMI. DIRT's full-length debut, "From Dirt We Come", which was produced nearly three years ago by COAL CHAMBER's Dez Fafara, was released last summer. In related news, DIRT singer Travis Powers is working on a new project called UNSPOKEN. The band, which is rounded out by Trey Ainsworth (guitar),Craig McLendon (bass),and Kevin Harrison (drums),have been working hard on music development for the last year, and are currently in the studio recording an EP, due out shortly through an as-yet-undisclosed label.
