DIRTY RIG Sign With ESCAPI MUSIC

May 22, 2006

DIRTY RIG, the Long Island, New York-based hard rockers featuring former WARRIOR SOUL frontman Kory Clarke, have inked a worldwide deal with Escapi Music. The group's new CD/DVD, entitled "Rock Did It", will be released on June 27. The upcoming album is the follow-up to the group's debut, "Blood, Sweat and Beer", which came out in 2003 on The Music Cartel label.

In other news, DIRTY RIG will be filming a video on June 12 with director David Brodsky (ALL THAT REMAINS, GOD FORBID) of My Good Eye. The clip will be for the lead-off track "Suck It".

Commented bassist Steve Seabury: "We are all very excited about this record and I hope you will be as well. 10 songs of pure kick-ass rock 'n' roll. It even comes with a 30-minute DVD. Wait to you guys hear the guitar solos. WOW. Some really good shit. It's about time."

DIRTY RIG recently had their song "Two" featured in an episode of "The Shield" on the FX network. "The Shield" is in its fifth season and is one of the highest-rated shows on FX.
