DISBELIEF Parts Ways With Guitarist, Announces Replacement
October 16, 2007German death metallers DISBELIEF have parted ways with guitarist Tommy Fritsch "due to private and musical reasons," according to a posting on the group's web site. Replacing Tommy in the band's lineup is Witali Weber, who will take part in DISBELIEF's European tour with GRAVEWORM, IN SLUMBER and DEADBORN beginning on October 19 in Essen, Germany.
DISBELIEF's seventh album, "Navigator", was released on February 26 via Massacre Records. The CD was recorded at MX studio in Buchen, Germany with producer Michael Mainx. A video for the title cut was also shot.
DISBELIEF re-signed with Massacre Records after issuing their last CD, "66Sick" (2005),through Nuclear Blast Records.
DISBELIEF vocalist Karsten "Jagger" Jäger has recorded a guest appearance on French grindcore band BENIGHTED's forthcoming album, entitled "Icon". He appears on the track "Human Circles".
