DISBELIEF Parts Ways With Guitarist, Seeks Replacement
November 4, 2006German death metallers DISBELIEF have amicably parted ways with guitarist Oliver "Olly" Lenz. The group is currently seeking a replacement. Interested parties can contact the band's vocalist Karsten "Jagger" Jäger at [email protected].
As previously reported, DISBELIEF just entered MX studio in Buchen, Germany with producer Michael Mainx to record their seventh CD, entitled "Navigator". Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Sacrifice", "The Thought Product", "Selected" and "Navigator". A February 26, 2007 release via Massacre Records is expected.
DISBELIEF re-signed with Massacre Records after issuing their last CD, "66 Sick" (2005),through Nuclear Blast Records. The band earlier in the year announced that guitarist Tommy Fritsch has joined the group as a full-time member following the departure of Olly Lenz late last year due to "health problems."
"66 Sick" was recorded at Antfarm Studio in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, HATESPHERE, MNEMIC).
