DISFEAR Confirmed For Czech Republic's OBSCENE SOCIETY Festival

DISFEAR, the Swedish "crust rock" outfit featuring former AT THE GATES/THE CROWN vocalist Tomas Lindberg and ex-ENTOMBED guitarist Uffe Cederlund, has been confirmed for the Obscene Society festival, set to take place May 11-12 in Pardubice, Czech Republic. "Last time we were in the Czech Republic was at the Obscene Extreme festival, and it sure did kick ass so needless to say we are looking forward to it," the band writes on its web site. "There will be three or four more shows in Germany around that date. More on that later."

DISFEAR is continuing to work on material for its new album, tentatively due later in the year via Relapse Records. Working songtitles set to appear on the follow-up to 2003's "Misanthropic Generation" include "Phantom", "Sharpen the Knives", "One-Way Communication", "Deadweight" and "The Furnace".
