DISIPLIN To Enter Studio In August
May 12, 2004Norwegian extreme metallers DISIPLIN, featuring ex-members of MYRKSKOG and EVILIZER, have set "Quimbanda" as the title of their sophomore album, tentatively due in early 2005 though Moonfog Records. The follow-up to the group's 2003 self-titled debut will be recorded in August.
DISIPLIN's self-produced debut featured guest appearances by ex-EMPEROR members Bård "Faust" Eithun and Samoth, and was described by the band's label as "a showcase of contagious, mid-tempo riffs intermittently layered around chilly black metal blast beats." Check out excerpts of two songs from the album: "Hate Engine" (mp3) and "The Death Song" (mp3).
