DISMEMBER Bassist To Perform With GRAVE In Mexico

February 19, 2009

DISMEMBER's Tobias Cristiansson will play bass for fellow Swedish death metallers GRAVE for two shows in Mexico in early March. Tobias says, "Fredrik Isaksson [GRAVE bassist] has a holiday trip booked and he could not reschedule this, so he is forced to sit out on these two Mexican gigs."

He added, "It will be a great honor for me to play these two gigs. The guys are very good friends of mine and DISMEMBER have done several tours and gigs together with GRAVE, so I know it will work out just fine.

"I remember being like 14 years old sitting in my room and blasting out the 'You'll Never See...' album on high volume and some year later seing the awesome video for 'Soulless' on MTV's 'Headbangers Ball'. So it will feel special for me to play these old songs together with GRAVE."

The dates are as follows:

March 06 - Monterrey, MEX - [to be announced]
March 07 - Mexico City, MEX - Circo Volador (Chas Metal Attack 3)

GRAVE's eighth album, "Dominion VIII", was released in April 2008 via Regain Records.
