DISSECTION To Give Special Interview For Their Web Site

May 14, 2006

Swedish extreme metallers DISSECTION have posted the following message on their official web site:

"DISSECTION will give a special interview for their website and forum. The interview will be led under the motto 'an interview by the fans for the fans.' Since DISSECTION are [constantly] turning down all interview offers from the media this will be the only interview DISSECTION will do and according to guitarist and singer Jon Nödtveidt 'it is going to contain important announcements concerning DISSECTION that may shock and surprise.'

"You can send your questions here: [email protected]. The deadline for sending in questions is Tuesday, 16 May 2006. The interview will be online on both the official DISSECTION forum and website on Thursday the 18th of May. For more info you can visit the official DISSECTIONforum."

DISSECTION will release their much anticipated new album, "Reinkaos", in North America on May 16 via The End Records (the CD was issued in Europe on April 30 on the band's own label, Black Horizon Records).

DISSECTION recently announced a one-off "exclusive" European concert on June 24 in Stockholm, Sweden. The performance, dubbed "Midsummer Massacre '06", will be filmed and recorded for a "massive DVD production" and a live album. Support acts will be announced soon.

On June 27, 2006, DISSECTION's classic "The Somberlain" and "Storm of the Light's Bane" albums will be reissued in the U.S. by The End Records. The remastered CDs will come with multiple bonus tracks, previously unreleased material and new layouts.
