DISTANT THUNDER: Debut Album Delayed

DISTANT THUNDER, the new band featuring former HELSTAR/DESTINY'S END and current SEVEN WITCHES frontman James Rivera, have had the release date of their debut album, "Welcome the End", pushed back to June 7 through Germany's Massacre Records. The CD was recorded at Spyder Studio in Houston, Texas and was produced by Rivera's SEVEN WITCHES bandmate Jack Frost. The lineup of DISTANT THUNDER also includes SYMPHONY X bassist Mike LePond, Z-LOT-Z's guitar duo, Gregg Gill and Eric Halpern (also former HELSTAR and DESTINY'S END guitarist),and Rick Ward on drums. In addition to nine new originals, "Welcome the End" also includes a 2004 version of HELSTAR's "Run with the Pack" and ACCEPT's "Restless and Wild". Behind-the-scenes pictures and video clips from the recording of "Welcome the End" have been posted online at this location.
