DISTURBED Frontman's House To Be Showcased On MTV's 'Cribs'
January 10, 2006DISTURBED frontman David Draiman's house will be showcased on MTV's "Cribs" on Wednesday, January 25 at 10:00 p.m. ET.
In other news, a short audio interview with Draiman, conducted recently by Rock 101 WGIR-FM, has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).
DISTURBED kicked off the second leg of the Jägermeister Music Tour last Friday (Jan. 6) in Spokane, Washington. This part of the trek runs through February 24 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and focuses mainly on the West Coast and the South. BLOODSIMPLE and other special guests are along to open the shows.
Meanwhile, DISTURBED have also unveiled a new single from their recently released "Ten Thousand Fists" album. Draiman told Launch that "Just Stop" is his take on a particular type of relationship. "Ever been in a relationship situation where, for whatever reason, the other partner in the relationship is always trying to do things to make things more dramatic? For no good reason?" he explained. "And if they just relax and allow things to be and just grow and develop, that everything would be much happier and more peaceful. So that's the idea behind that song."
"Ten Thousand Fists", DISTURBED's third album, debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 when it was released last September. The album has since been certifield platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of one million copies.
