DISTURBED Frontman Talks 'Asylum' In New Video Interview
August 11, 2010Phil Freeman of MSN's metal music section Headbang conducted an interview with vocalist David Draiman of Chicago heavy rockers DISTURBED on July 27, 2010 in New York City. You can now watch the chat in three parts below.
DISTURBED's new video, "Another Way To Die", was directed by Roboshobo (a.k.a. Robert Schober),who has previously worked with METALLICA, MASTODON and DEFTONES, among others. Roboshobo also helmed the clip for the title track of DISTURBED's new album, "Asylum", which will arrive on August 31 via Reprise Records.
"Another Way to Die" is already a #1 hit at Active Rock Radio. This is the highest Billboard Active Rock debut in DISTURBED's history and the fastest #1 for the band on Billboard's Active Rock chart, getting to #1 in just four weeks. It is also the fastest #1 on Billboard's Active Rock chart in over three years and is the band's seventh #1 single on Billboard's Active Rock chart: they are tied with METALLICA for the third most #1s on the Active Rock chart.
As a special gift to fans, the four-piece has created the documentary "Decade of Disturbed". The 60-plus-minute film candidly captures the band's ten-year history, with extensive behind-the-scenes and never-before-seen footage.
