DISTURBED-Led 'Uproar' Tour Unveils Ticket Deals

June 10, 2010

According to The Pulse of Radio, tickets for the first Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival go on sale to the general public in selected markets on Saturday (June 12),with a limited number of lawn tickets available for $20 with no extra fees while supplies last. These tickets are good only for the tour's outdoor amphitheater dates and may include shipping fees. All fans who buy tickets for the trek will also be able to sign up to get a free digital compilation of songs from the lineup of bands, which features DISTURBED, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, STONE SOUR, HALESTORM, HELLYEAH, AIRBOURNE, HAIL THE VILLAIN and NEW MEDICINE.

DISTURBED frontman David Draiman told The Pulse of Radio what he thinks makes Uproar stand out in the crowded summer festival schedule. "A lot of this is actually going to be indoors — you know, the beginning of it I know will be sheds, but the indoor arenas give you a little bit more opportunity to have that enclosed environment, bigger boom from the crowd, more production element visuals that are much more clear and precise," he said.

VIP packages are also available for the tour. They include one ticket located in the 10 rows of the reserved section or a general admission pit ticket, early entry to the venue, an official VIP tour laminate, access to the Rockstar Lounge, limited edition Uproar headphones, an exclusive Uproar Zippo lighter, a limited-edition tour poster and a official set of Uproar guitar picks.

The first annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival launches on August 17 in Minneapolis and wraps on October 4 in Madison, Wisconsin.

The tour has also partnered with Child Find of America, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and resolution of child abduction. A portion of the proceeds of each ticket sold will go to Child Find of America, with the tour also launching an awareness campaign that will include images of missing children on tour vehicles and social media outreach.
