October 10, 2006

DISTURBED will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guests on Saturday, October 21 during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio show, aptly named "Rock Show". Listen to the program live via the Internet between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight) U.K. time (between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST) at BBC.co.uk.

DISTURBED has tapped STONE SOUR, NONPOINT and FLYLEAF for its upcoming "Music As A Weapon" tour, which is scheduled to kick off Nov. 15 in Providence, RI and wrap up Dec. 22 in Madison, WI.

DISTURBED frontman David Draiman recently underwent successful surgery to fix a deviated septum which was making breathing difficult and affecting his vocal abilities on stage. The Chicago-based band is currently on tour in Europe.

Previous "Music As A Weapon" tours have featured bands like CHEVELLE, TAPROOT and DROWNING POOL in addition to the headliners.

DISTURBED's "Ten Thousand Fists" album has sold 1.3 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
