DISTURBED Unveils Complete Winter Tour

December 9, 2008

The Pulse of Radio reports that DISTURBED has unveiled a more complete itinerary for its upcoming winter headlining tour, which will begin on January 16 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and extend to the end of February. Aside from a brief Northwest swing that the group is currently finishing, this will be DISTURBED's first full run through the U.S. since last summer's Rockstar Energy Mayhem trek. Singer David Draiman told The Pulse of Radio the group is looking forward to playing the States again: "Yeah, we definitely have spent our share of time outside of the States and it's certainly time for us to come back home and we're looking forward to the home crowds, to the energy of the U.S. crowds. We're definitely looking forward to the whole run."

SEVENDUST will be direct support to DISTURBED on the tour.

The tour will serve as a warm-up for the fourth edition of DISTURBED's Music As A Weapon package, which will kick off in March with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH joining the headliners.

DISTURBED is on the road behind "Indestructible", its fourth studio effort and third straight album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard chart.

The CD's first single, "Inside The Fire", has landed DISTURBED its first Grammy nomination, for Best Hard Rock Performance.
