DIVINE EMPIRE Clear Up Second-Guitarist Search Confusion

September 23, 2005

Century Media/Crash Music recording artists DIVINE EMPIRE have issued the following update on their guitarist search:

"We want to clear up the obvious confusion about our slot for a new guitar player. DIVINE EMPIRE is searching for a NEW SECOND guitar player. Not a new vocalist or bassist or violinist. Guitar player...

"We were originally going with guitarist Frank Cusimano but he was unable to join due to personal financial problems that were just wasting the band's time, so the slot for a NEW second guitarist is open. Own equipment and transportation a must. Preferably someone from the Florida area (the EMPIRE resides in South Florida on the East Coast between Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm beach). If not, you must be willing to relocate to Florida to join. Amateurs or kids need not apply. We are looking for experienced musicians ONLY, at least 21 years of age to participate in the 'annihilation.' The new DIVINE EMPIRE album, 'Method of Execution', will be released [in the U.S.] on November 2nd, 2005, so to complete the line-up, the EMPIRE will need to recruit a second guitarist as soon as possible who is highly capable of playing brutal death metal for future shows in December 2005 and winter tours in early 2006.

"IMPORTANT: Please explain your age, experience (previous bands),residence (city/state),gear you use (guitar/amps) and willingness to relocate if you are from out of the area.

"For more info. and song list, contact DIVINE EMPIRE at e-mail: [email protected] or send a message on Myspace @ www.myspace.com/divineempire."

Produced once again by Jeremy Staska (MALEVOLENT CREATION, HATEPLOW, REMEMBERING NEVER, NONPOINT, POISON THE WELL),"Method of Execution" sees the band moving away from their straight-ahead death metal origins "to include a variety of influences, helping distance them from their MALEVOLENT CREATION brethren," according to a press release. "Stronger melodies, catchier song structures and hints of classical, doom, black, and even classic rock all rear their ugly heads."

DIVINE EMPIRE bassist/vocalist Jason Blachowicz (ex-MALEVOLENT CREATION) recently announced the addition of Marco Martell (guitar) and David Kinkade (drums) (both from Chicago) to the group's ranks.
