DIVINE EVE Seeks Musicians

April 20, 2009

Reactivated Texas old-school death metal act DIVINE EVE is seeking a permanent bass player to replace Tyson Lueck. The band says, "The standard set by Tyson will be kept very high, and with his strong encouragement we will continue forward and keep true to his legacy with a suitable replacement.

DIVINE EVE is also looking for a live performance drummer. The group explains, "Matt Killen is unable to commit to live performance, but will continue as main studio drummer as well as one of the key composers of new
DIVINE EVE material. Drummers who apply will be given specifics on this
arrangement."

Requirements:

*A passion and desire to create, compose, perform, and master doom/death/black metal music.
* The band would prefer that applicants either live in or would be willing to
relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but they may consider another
setup depending on the circumstances.
* A professional attitude and quality musical abilities are first and foremost in determining who will be chosen.

Interested musicians can contact the band via MySpace or send an e-mail to [email protected] to receive audition information and instructions.

DIVINE EVE entered Kearlight Recording Studios in October 2008 with engineer Scott Cooksey to begin recording a new EP. The effort will consist of two new songs and two previously unrecorded (by DIVINE EVE) tracks that originally appeared on the CRIMSON RELIC"Purgatory's Reign" album. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Whispers of Fire", "Ravages of Heathen Men" and "Vindication".
