DIVINE HERESY Announces Week-Long Headlining Run

October 26, 2007

DIVINE HERESY — the new Los Angeles-based band featuring former FEAR FACTORY/current ASESINO guitarist Dino Cazares alongside drummer Tim Yeung (ex-VITAL REMAINS, HATE ETERNAL),vocalist Tommy Cummings (VEXT) and bassist Joe Payne (ex-NILE, DOMINATION THROUGH IMPURITY, LUST OF DECAY) — will follow up the "Operation: Annihilation" tour with a week-long headlining stint that will lead directly into another lengthy North American trek alongside CHIMAIRA, KATAKLYSM and TERROR. Look for the band on tour in the U.S. throughout the majority of 2008.

DIVINE HERESY is currently annihilating crowds and garnering new legions of diehard fans on the "Operation: Annihilation" tour with STATIC-X, SHADOWS FALL and 3 INCHES OF BLOOD. This trek kicked off their worldwide touring campaign for their highly acclaimed debut album "Bleed the Fifth". Dino Cazares (guitars) and DIVINE HERESY also want to meet you (the fans) and they will be at the merch booth every night to hang out, take photos and sign copies of their new disc.

Commented Cazares: "Our first tour is going killer, and it's been exciting to see the band grow. The shows have been amazing, and it's been great to meet so many fans every night. We want to keep meeting everyone, so come to the shows early to see our set, and then come hang out with us at the merch booth.

"Some of you might have heard that our singer Tommy slipped down some stairs in Milwaukee and sprained his ankle, but our attitude is that the show must go on. Despite his foot being hurt and him not being able to move around as much, the shows are getting better and better, and it's been cool to see circle pits every night! It's also great to be on tour with old friends. FEAR FACTORY gave STATIC-X their first tour back in the day, and we thank them for returning the favor. It's great hanging out with Tony [Campos, STATIC-X bassist], my ASESINO brother, every night. I also go way back with [SHADOWS FALL drummer] Jason Bittner, since he let FEAR FACTORY use his basement to rehearse in the 'Demanufacture' era.

"We look forward to another few weeks of drunken nights and hungover days. I think we'll have to start putting Pedialyte on our riders!"

Cazares also just posted his second guitar lesson breaking down how to play various riffs for the track "Failed Creation". Watch the clip below.
