DIVINE HERESY Continuing Vocalist Search

July 10, 2008

California metal act DIVINE HERESY, which recently completed a North American tour with fill-in singer Jake Veredika (former lead singer of the Maryland-based metal band PERIPHERY),is now going back to the drawing board to explore more options in the vocalist department. If you are interested in trying out for the position, you need to go to the group's MySpace page at to download some instrumental tracks. You will need to record your vocals on them and submit them back to [email protected] along with a bio, any possible photos and contact info. Vocal tracks should be as organic as possible. No autotune or vocal effects, excessive reverb, etc.

DIVINE HERESY will spend the summer months writing material for its sophomore release. However, the group does plan on playing a few dates in Mexico and South America this August.

A crushing, new video clip featuring Tim Yeung (drums) breaking down how to play certain parts of the track "Soul Decoded" can be viewed below.

DIVINE HERESY's debut album, "Bleed the Fifth", has sold more than 20,000 copies in the United States since its August 2007 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD was released in Japan with an exclusive bonus track, "Purity Defiled".
