DOKKEN Joined By GEORGE LYNCH On Stage In West Hollywood; Video Available

November 29, 2009

Fan-filmed video footage of DOKKEN performing the classic song "In My Dreams" on November 27, 2009 at the House Of Blues in West Hollywood, California — with a special guest appearance by ex-DOKKEN/current LYNCH MOB guitarist George Lynch — can be viewed below (courtesy of "SheriH").

DOKKEN's Hollywood show featured support from LYNCH MOB in what marked the first time ever that the two bands had shared the stage. (Note: DOKKEN and LYNCH MOB played together at last month's Loud Park festival in Japan, but they did not perform on the same stage.) DOKKEN and LYNCH MOB also performed at San Diego's The 4th and B last night and are scheduled to play at the House Of Blues in Anaheim tonight.

DOKKEN's new "greatest-hits" album — a collection of all-new versions of tracks such as "Dream Warriors", "Breaking the Chains" and "Just Got Lucky", paired two new songs and two covers (including a version of "Lies", originally recorded by THE KNICKERBOCKERS) — is tentatively due early next year via Cleopatra.

DOKKEN's latest album "Lightning Strikes Again", was released on May 13, 2008 via Rhino Records. The CD is DOKKEN's tenth studio album and it "mark[ed] a true and definite return" to the band's classic sound, according to a press release.

In addition to the regular European version of "Lightning Strikes Again", Frontiers Records released a special limited edition of the CD on April 11, 2008 in a glossy slipcase. The limited-edition version included an exclusive bonus track for Europe, entitled "Sunset Superstar".

LYNCH MOB's current touring lineup includes drummer Brian Tichy (FOREIGNER, BILLY IDOL, OZZY OSBOURNE, VELVET REVOLVER) and bassist Michael "Denim" Devin (KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD).

Audio samples of all 13 songs that appear on LYNCH MOB's comeback album, "Smoke And Mirrors", are available for download at HeavyHarmonies.com (scroll down). The CD was released in Europe on September 18 (October 13 in the U.S.) via Frontiers Records.

LYNCH MOB's recording lineup on "Smoke And Mirrors" included Logan and Lynch alongside bassist Marco Mendoza (WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY) and drummer Scot Coogan (BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, ACE FREHLEY).
