DOPESICK To Issue "Vendetta" In July

May 30, 2002

San Francisco Bay Area's DOPESICK, featuring original SKINLAB guitarist Adam Albright and ex-KILLING CULTURE singer Marcus Payton, have completed work on a five-song EP, entitled Vendetta, at Trident Studios with producers Juan Urteaga (i.e. 40 GRIT, SKINLAB) and Scott Sargeant (ex-KILLING CULTURE/SKINLAB) for a July release. According to Albright, "the songs vary from frantic noise to heavy-as-hell groves. Hardcore metalcore is how we get tagged, but its just big heavy sound." For more information, including samples of the band's music, visit the band's official web site at this location.

DOPESICK will be performing the following live shows during June:

Jun. 01 – Sacramento, CA @ Scratch 8 (w/INSOLENCE)
Jun. 07 - San Jose, CA @ The Cactus Club
Jun. 27 – Reno, NV @ RenoPunk.com
