DOUBLE DRIVE Vocalist To Guest On New THE ALIEN BLAKK Album

September 8, 2008

DOUBLE DRIVE vocalist Donnie Hamby will make a guest appearance on the new album from THE ALIEN BLAKK, the band led by guitarist/producer Joshua Craig. "Donnie is an amazing and creative vocal force," Craig says. "The guy just rips your head off and can keep it rolling with strength. We did a track in Atlanta that will end up with both of us singing and splitting up vocal duties on the song. The song is called 'Erased'. It deals with how for some, as soon as you break up with someone, you are exactly, just that, erased. It's for those who have no heart and dissolve in their own self worthlessness. Donnie was great to work with and his music is much appreciated."

The drums on the new THE ALIEN BLAKK CD were tracked by Kevin Talley (DAATH, ex-CHIMAIRA, THE RED CHORD) while the bass was handled by David Ellefson (MEGADETH, F5).

THE ALIEN BLAKK sophomore album tentative track listing:

01. The Quickening
02. Erased
03. In Memory
04. I Tried You
05. Jigsaw
06. Runnin' Down A Dream (TOM PETTY cover)
07. From Under The Ground
08. Hate Me

The upcoming THE ALIEN BLAKK live shows will not include Ellefson or Talley but will feature a bassist who teaches at Berklee College Of Music and a "gypsy/thrash" drummer.

THE ALIEN BLAKK's sophomore album is slated for an early 2009 release.
