DOWN: German Dates Announced

DOWN — the acclaimed New Orleans band featuring CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist),bassist Rex Brown (ex-PANTERA),guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR),and vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA) — will play at least two German headlining dates as part of their spring/summer European tour. So far the following shows have been announced:

May 19 - Hamburg, GER @ Grosse Freiheit
May 20 - Köln, GER @ Live Music Hall
Jun. 01 - Milan, ITA @ Gods of Metal

Many more dates are expected to be added during the coming weeks.

Other acts scheduled to perform at the tenth edition of Gods Of Metal festival at Idroscalo in Milan, Italy include VENOM, DIMMU BORGIR, OPETH, TESTAMENT, NEVERMORE and SATYRICON.

DOWN will begin work on new material shortly after returning home from their European tour and are tentatively planning on entering the studio in September to begin recording their third album.

DOWN's sophomore album, "Down II", was released in March 2002 on Elektra Records. The band headlined the second stage at the 2002 Ozzfest.
