DOWN: New Orleans Headlining Show Announced

DOWN — the acclaimed New Orleans band featuring CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist),bassist Rex Brown (ex-PANTERA),guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR),and vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA) — has announced a headlining show in New Orleans on April 4 at the House of Blues. The group's headlining appearances now include:

March 30 - Worcester, MA @ Palladium
March 31 - New York, NY @ Roseland
April 01 - Philadelphia, PA @ Electric Factory
April 02 - Washington, DC @ 9:30 Club
April 04 - New Orleans, LA @ House Of Blues

DOWN is currently touring Canada with HEAVEN AND HELL and MEGADETH.

As previously reported, DOWN premiered a brand new song, entitled "I Scream", during their headlining appearance at the El Corazon club in Seattle, Washington on March 9. A video clip of the track has surfaced and can be viewed at YouTube.com.

DOWN entered a Los Angeles studio last month to begin recording its third full-length album, tentatively titled "Down III". Producer Warren Riker (CROWBAR, SUBLIME) is helming the effort, for which the band had reportedly composed more than 18 tracks.
