DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL Seeks Unsigned Bands

February 17, 2005

VirtualFestivals.com has issued the following report:

You and your band could find yourselves playing at the Download Festival in front of an audience of thousands, alongside the likes of BLACK SABBATH and SLIPKNOT thanks to a competition run in conjunction with the festival's sponsors...

Snickers Unsigned is offering one unknown rock bands the chance to turn fantasy into reality by performing at the premier rock fest. Entries will be stripped down to a short list of ten, before music fans pick the best three to play a no-holds-barred live play-off at a central London venue. The celebrity judging panel will then select one band from the three who will go on to play on the Snickers Stage at Download.

The lucky winners will also win free Gibson gear, get to record and release a single, and get drenched in the celebrity high-life, with appearances on TV and radio.

For more details, and entry, go to www.snickersunsigned.co.uk. The closing date for entries is March 29th 2005.

Download Festival takes place at Donington Park on June 10-12, 2005.
