DOWNLORD Announce Tour Dates With BOLT THROWER

March 18, 2006

DOWNLORD, the Denmark-based death metal act featuring former members of BOLT THROWER/BENEDICTION, INIQUITY and SACRIFICIAL, will support BOLT THROWER on three shows on the second leg of their "Those Still Loyal" European tour. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Apr. 13 - Copenhagen, DEN @ The Rock
Apr. 14 - Gothenburg, SWE @ Sticky Fingers
Apr. 22 - Lund, SWE @ Mejeriet

These gigs will see the initial steps into the live arena for DOWNLORD.

Commented DOWNLORD guitarist Donovan Spenceley: "These gigs are so perfect for us to launch our live career! We appreciate this offer from BOLT THROWER immensely." Added vocalist Dave Ingram (who was previously a member of BOLT THROWER): "It's going to be fantastic to be able to play shows with — AND hang out with — one of the greatest bunch of people in the metal scene ever! I'm over the fucking moon to be playing a show with DOWNLORD and BOLT THROWER!!"

For these shows, the band will be using the talents of drummer Rasmus Schmidt, who appeared on their first demo from 2005. The recording, along with the group's latest three-song demo, is available for free download at DOWNLORD's official web site, www.downlord.dk.

DOWNLORD's new demo features the contributions of acclaimed Danish drummer Reno Kiilerich, who has previously played with DIMMU BORGIR, VILE, PANZERCHRIST and DEW-SCENTED, among other groups. The band are currently shopping around for a record deal.
