DOWNLORD Featuring Ex-BOLT THROWER Frontman: New Song Posted Online

March 6, 2006

Denmark's death metal act DOWNLORD, featuring ex-members of BOLT THROWER/BENEDICTION, INIQUITY and SACRIFICIAL, have posted a rough-mix version of one of their new demo tracks on their official web site for free download.

Commented frontman Dave Ingram: "We really want this track — and those we're still working on — to stand for themselves. And they do. This rough mix is just a taster of what's to come! We left the original demo on the site so you can hear the difference. Feedback from people will be welcome. See our site for email address details." Added guitarist Donovan Spenceley: "Since we got back from recording the drums we've been stuck in the studio working meticulously with the mixing process, to get the results we want. Us being at the mixing-helm has been a real pleasure. Reno (Kiilerich; ex-DIMMU BORGIR) has added a new dimension to these tracks, as you'll no doubt hear. Happiness is a belt-fed weapon ...and Reno's bass drums are blasting!"

To check out the song, entitled "Loathe. Scorn. Detest.", visit the band's web site, www.downlord.dk. Also available are Quicktime MPEG movies of the recording process.
