DOWNLORD Preparing Next Recording Project

May 10, 2006

Danish/British death metal act DOWNLORD have posted live shots from their April shows with BOLT THROWER. The pictures can be viewed at this location.

Commented guitarist Rene Falther: "There's more shots to come. Two of the Danish photographers we used are still on assignment, so we gotta wait till they return from the tour they're on."

The band are currently preparing their next recording project, with the following tracks:

01. Excessive (XSV) Payback
02. Underdrive
03. Path Of Least Resistance
04. Smoke & Mirrors
05. Sleep Forever

DOWNLORD reportedly have yet another nine tracks to work on, some of which may well surface on the next recording project and to boost the live set. More Scandinavian shows are currently being scheduled.

DOWNLORD's first recording from 2005, along with the group's latest three-song demo — featuring drummer Reno Kiilerich (DIMMU BORGIR, VILE, PANZERCHRIST, DEW-SCENTED) — is available for free download at DOWNLORD's official web site, www.downlord.dk. The band are currently shopping around for a record deal.
