DOWNSPIRIT Joined By DOMAIN Bassist

DOWNSPIRIT, the new blues/metal-oriented band formed by SYMPHORCE/ex-FREEDOM CALL guitarist Cedric "Cede" Dupont, has announced the addition of DOMAIN bassist Steven Wussow to the group's ranks.

Based in Stuttgart, Germany, DOWNSPIRIT is currently in pre-production for its upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in mid-2009. "Blending old blues roots with a modern, downtuned guitar-feel, their songs are a mixture of typical bluesy '80s hard rock and a contemporary metal sound, which also includes some electro loops," according to a press release.
