DRAGONFORCE: All Live Shows For 2010 Cancelled

November 13, 2009

British extreme epic power metallers DRAGONFORCE have issued the following update:

"It is with great regret that DRAGONFORCE have to announce the cancellation of the two shows in Tokyo that were scheduled for the beginning of March 2010. The reason for this is that at the end of the 2009 U.K. part of the 'Ultra Beatdown World Tour', the band will start writing a new studio album scheduled for release in 2011. They will need to focus totally on this, and unfortunately this means all live shows for 2010 have been cancelled."

DRAGONFORCE's massive final leg of the "Ultra Beatdown" tour kicked off in September in the USA with special guests SONATA ARCTICA. The band hit cities across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America, mainland Europe and finishing up in the U.K. Joining DRAGONFORCE in the U.K. are Swedish power metallers SABATON, tech-metal lords SYLOSIS and rising stars GLAMOUR OF THE KILL.
