DRAGONFORCE Guitarist Says He Is Sick Of Being Asked About 'Guitar Hero'

During a recent interview with Metal Injection, DRAGONFORCE guitarist Sam Totman was asked if he was sick of being asked about Guitar Hero. "Don't ask me if I can play my song on Guitar Hero because I get asked that like five times a day," he replied. Other topics discussed include the typical routine on a Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival stop, trying to score "birds" (ladies),the "Ultra Beatdown" album art and more. Watch the chat below.

"Ultra Beatdown", the new album from DRAGONFORCE, has registered the following first-week chart positions:

Canada: #15
USA: #18
UK: #18
Australia: #18
Ireland: #47

"Ultra Beatdown" sold 24,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release.

DRAGONFORCE will hit the U.S. for a six-week headline tour that hits major markets. DRAGONFORCE are a touring machine, but their last headline tour occured two years ago in September 2006. It was a sold-out spectacle that cemented the band's reputation as a live powerhouse, so it's time for the band to once again topline a bill. TURISAS will serve as main support for the tour, which kicks off on November 1 and runs through December 19.
