DREAM THEATER Drummer Interviewed On BRUCE DICKINSON's Radio Show; Audio Available

Drummer Mike Portnoy of progressive metal giants DREAM THEATER was IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guest last night (Friday, June 19) during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio program, dubbed "The Bruce Dickinson Friday Rock Show". The program is now available for streaming at BBC.co.uk.

DREAM THEATER's new album, "Black Clouds & Silver Linings", is scheduled for release on June 23 via Roadrunner Records.

DREAM THEATER commenced work on "Black Clouds & Silver Linings" — the band's second for Roadrunner, following up 2007's "Systematic Chaos" — in October of last year.

Portnoy and guitarist John Petrucci are once again at the helm as producers, while Paul Northfield mixed the record.
