Driving Around São Paulo With SEPULTURA's ANDREAS KISSER
October 3, 2009SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser was a recent guest on the "Mini TV" show in Brazil. Video of his appearance can be viewed below.
"Mini TV" is described as a combination of a test drive and a talk show in which Brazilian personalities and celebrities from the worlds of design, business, fashion, food and music take a mini cooper out for a spin on the streets of São Paulo, Brazil while being interviewed by Vivianne Ventura (the winner of the first edition of the Brazilian version of the TV program "The Apprentice").
Kisser's solo debut, "Hubris I & II", was released on June 15 via Holland's Mascot Records. A two-disc set, the self-produced effort was recorded in part at A Voz do Brasil studio in São Paulo, Brazil.
Kisser previously stated about the album, "I'm very pleased with the result and I'm excited to hear it all done. It was a long process, a learning process and a great experience. It's a musical journey through the influences I had for last 15 years of my life and at the same time it's very different from everything I did so far."
"Hubris" comes from Greek word "hybris," which means "excessive pride, wanton violence."
