Drummer MARKY RAMONE: Better Late Than Never

May 13, 2005

Former RAMONES drummer Marky Ramone has issued the following update on his current and upcoming activities:

"Last week playing with my band, doin' the RAMONES stuff, was so much fun for me and the fans. I should have done this four years ago! But better late than never. Will see everyone at New Jersey and Long Island — get ready to do the blitzkreig bop.

"Also: the VH1 show I did last week was helpful to keep music programs alive in the schools. I will also be attending the movie premier of the real 'Rock School' where I play 'Sedated' in with the students. This date will be posted soon. Then from there, I will play the song at CBGBs.

"Can't wait to play with the real bad girl, Ronnie Spector, at my friend and former lead singer's birthday bash: Joey Ramone."
