DUFF MCKAGAN Talks LOADED, VELVET REVOLVER In New Video Interview

March 22, 2011

ExploreMusic's Ira conducted an interview with Duff McKagan (DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED, VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) last week at the South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas. You can now watch the chat below.

McKagan vehemently denied rumors that the original lineup of GUNS N' ROSES has been approached to perform at next year's Super Bowl, saying, "That's bullshit. Pure, unadulterated bullshit. But it's a good story. You know, I heard it from my wife! 'Hey, you know the Super Bowl is asking you guys...' I'm like, 'Honey. Really?' Even in my own house, you can't differentiate what's being said on the Internet and the real story."

DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED's new album, "The Taking", will be released on April 19 via Eagle Rock Entertainment. The CD was recorded at a Seattle-area studio with veteran rock producer Terry Date (SOUNDGARDEN, PANTERA, DEFTONES).

Eagle Rock Entertainment will re-release DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED's 2009 album "Sick" in May. This special reissue of the CD also packs a bonus DVD, featuring 11 tracks from a live set at The Garage in Glasgow filmed in December 2008.
