DYING FETUS: Bus Company Is To Blame For Dutch Gig Cancellation

September 18, 2002

DYING FETUS have posted the following explanation for the cancellation of the group's show in Hardenberg, Holland, originally scheduled to take place this past weekend:

"We sincerely apologize to anyone who came out to the Hardenberg show and found it was cancelled. It was honestly not our fault, it was completely out of our control, and we regret not being there. We were in London on [September] 12th — our bus dropped us off at the club and then it had to go to the shop for repairs. A replacement bus was supposed to pick us up after the gig and take us to Hardenberg. But the bus never showed up!!!! Everyone had to sleep outside on the sidewalk in front of Club Underworld all night and into the next day — we stayed on the street for 15 hours!!!!! When our fucking bus finally arrived it was way too late to make the Hardenberg gig. We are very sorry for the cancellation. Thanks to Show Line Busing for this wretched fuck-up!"
