DYSRHYTHMIA Begins Work On 'Psychic Maps'
February 11, 2009Progressive instrumental trio DYSRHYTHMIA has begun work on its fifth full-length album, "Psychic Maps", at the band's own Menegroth studio in Queens, New York. DYSRHYTHMIA bassist Colin Marston is engineering the follow-up to 2006's "Barriers And Passages", which is expected to contain six songs with a running time of around 40-45 minutes. An early summer 2009 release via Relapse Records is expected.
DYSRHYTHMIA recently returned home from a week-long East Coast tour with labelmates TOMBS. The band is currently planning for additional touring in the spring and summer in support of "Psychic Maps".
The band's latest release was a split CD with the U.K.'s ROTHKO, which came out in August 2007.
