San Francisco's metal/punk act EARLY GRAVES has announced the addition of bassist Matt O'Brien (ex-GRACE ALLEY, THE SICK) to the group's ranks. Matt replaces Tyler Jensen, who has moved to guitar in the band. "We are all really excited about having two guitars and a smasher for a bassist while we are writing our new record," guitarist Chris Brock says.

EARLY GRAVES is currently writing the follow-up to its debut CD, "We: The Guillotine", tentatively titled "Goner". "The new record is way faster, smarter, heavier and better all around," Brock says. "We are hoping to be in the studio in July recording and have a fall release".

"Goner" will feature the following songs, among others:

* "Goner"
* "Whiskey Business"
* "L8"
* "JC is Dead"
* "Jesus Splizzard"
* "Bangover"
* "Party Boner"
* "Sweep Arpeggios Are The New Rapping Over A Heavy Chorus"
* "Boner Of Solace"
* "Goldenbnoer"
* "You're Fucking Out!"

EARLY GRAVES will undertake a U.S. tour with THE SECRET (from Marinara, Italy) beginning mid-April.
