EARSHOT Drummer Shoots Down Breakup Rumors

March 30, 2005

EARSHOT drummer Chas Stumbo has rejected rumors that the band have called it a day following their recent split with Warner Bros. Records. Commenting on his use of "ex-SHOT" as his signature when posting comments on message boards, Stumbo told AudioAggression.com, "'Ex-SHOT' is an inside joke between Johnny [Sprague, bass] and myself. Everyone assumes the band is over but a lot of positive things are happening which I'm not at liberty to discuss; so when the time is right we'll fill everyone in on our plans."

EARSHOT reportedly left the MEGADETH-headlined "Blackmail the Universe" tour late last year due to a less than favorable crowd response. Sprague has since joined SOLACE FOR NOW.
