EDGUY Frontman's Surgery Forces MORE THAN A FEST Cancellation

Slovakia's More Than A Fest has been cancelled by the organizers after headliners EDGUY were unable to guarantee their participation in the event (which was to take place on August 25) following frontman Tobias Sammet's recent appendix surgery. EDGUY's North American tour, which is set to kick off on September 11 in Hartford, Connecticut, will go ahead as scheduled.

EDGUY filmed a live DVD on November 3, 2006 at the Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil.

The band's latest album, "Rocket Ride", entered the German national album chart at position No. 8 upon its release in late January 2006. The CD also came in at No. 8 in Sweden, No. 25 in Finland, No. 32 in Hungary, No. 48 in Japan, No. 50 in Switzerland, No. 50 in Austria, No. 79 in Norway and No. 81 in Italy.
