EDGUY: 'Secret' Club Show Air Date Set

January 17, 2004

A live video recording of EDGUY's "secret" gig at Cologne's Underground club on January 21 will be broadcast on the WDR "Rockaplast" show the night of March 21/22 at 1:00 a.m. CET.

As previously reported, tickets for the show will be strictly limited as the club has only a capacity of a maximum of less than 250 people. Besides the classic songs EDGUY will present some of their new songs world exclusively. Tickets will probably be available for less than 10 euros, and to avoid black-market-dealing, only two tickets will likely be available per order.

EDGUY's brand-new studio album, "Hellfire Club", is due on March 15 through Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Mandrake" was produced by EDGUY and Norman Meiritz, with additional assistance from Sascha Paeth (RHAPSODY, ANGRA),who was responsible for the drum sound on the album. The final mix took place at the famous Finnvox Studios (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS) in Helsinki, Finland.

Prior to the release of "Hellfire Club", EDGUY will release an EP, titled "King Of Fools". The five-song effort, which will contain only one track from the forthcoming full-length CD plus a 15-minute "making of" video clip (for Macintosh & PC),is due on February 2.

EDGUY are currently working on the "King Of Fools" video. According to the band's web site, "it's gonna be weird and hilarious and will be at the stations middle/end of January."
