EDGUY To Release First Official DVD In September

May 20, 2005

German melodic metallers EDGUY have posted the following message on their official web site:

"There's not only a 5-track EP 'Superheroes' going to come out this year! EDGUY plan to release the first official DVD in September, too, featuring different material than what's going to be found on the EP. Besides the video clip of 'Superheroes', the DVD will feature various live tracks in 5.1 sound filmed at their show in Sao Paulo during their world tour 2004 when the band flew their whole big stage over to Brazil. Furthermore there will be a lot of never-before-seen 'behind-the-scenes' footage — they have a camera team filming their recording sessions of the forthcoming EP and album right now. This DVD — that will have plenty of other little features as well — is going to be called 'Superheroes - the DVD' and should be out early September."

Commented the band: "You asked for it, so we do it! It will be some kind of a 'special item' for our fans and ourselves to 'soothe the wait' for the new album. We keep you updated on the plans. At this point our record label is considering to change the release date for EP and DVD to September 5th. No problem for us, we are working at full tilt anyway. And it's all feeling so great!"
