EERIE Adds Female Singer

February 11, 2008

VANMAKT's Gorgoth (a.k.a. Tais) has issued the following update on his Swedish gothic/doom metal project EERIE:

"EERIE would like to start with thanking everyone that has shown their interest in being the female vocalist of EERIE. We want to apologise for the delay in making a decision, but we werent prepared for the amount of applications that we have got, and since we are busy with other bands and so on we haven't had the time to decide until now.

"The EERIE vocalist is named Lina Lindström and lives just outside Karlskrona in Sweden. We are really glad to have her and her beautiful voice onboard and we can't wait to start the recordings! But first we need to finish all the songs and make sure that everything is perfect so that this album will the best that you have heard.

"We also want to embrace Michael James Burns as our session member! His piano and keyboard melodies will give all of you a glance of true despair.

"Well, with this said I want to tell everyone that a mayor makeover of the MySpace site is being done and in a couple of days we will have new photos of EERIE and maybe even more news for you out there in the mist. Two pre-recordings has been uploaded to our MySpace so that you can hear how we sound today and how the album will sound, unfortunate we haven't recorded any vocals yet, but you will hear songs with vocals soon enough."
